Where To Find Us About 45 miles south of
Edinburgh and 110 miles north of Newcastle, Melrose, off the A6091,
is
in the heart of the Scottish Borders. With a population of just
under 1700. Melrose boasts a fine selection of local
specialty
shops as well as some fine restaurants, hotels and guest houses which
makes it the ideal place for a holiday or a short break with plenty to
do and see in the surrounding area, including the spectacular remains
of Melrose
Abbey which was originally built in 1136 is only a
short walk from the town centre. Melrose Rugby Football
Club were
the founders of the famous "Rugby
Sevens" and continues to host some of
the finest rugby in Scotland. The Lodge is approx. 100 yards from
the Market Square.
